A infância abrigada : impressões das crianças na casa abrigo

Abstract

Esta Dissertação sobre Infâncias Abrigadas pretende discutir os modos como as crianças são produzidas e constituídas a partir de suas histórias e lugares, tempos e espaços. Problematizo na pesquisa acerca das “dasguerras” vividas pelas crianças na Casa Abrigo como, por exemplo, a falta da família, viver na vulnerabilidade social, privação de liberdade, a dúvida de quanto tempo ficará no abrigo e se vai retornar para a sua família. Meu objeto de pesquisa na dissertação intitulada Crianças abrigadas: Impressões das Crianças na Casa Abrigo me remete a duas perguntas: como as infâncias são produzidas na Casa Abrigo? Quais as impressões destes sujeitos sobre os espaços de abrigamento, por eles vividos com as outras crianças? A participação destes sujeitos em todo o processo de pesquisa instigoume a pensar em instrumentos metodológicos que exigissem a imaginação e a criatividade, tendo em vista a interpretação e as impressões das crianças acerca dos espaços onde elas viviam, aproximando, assim, seus saberes e suas culturas. Ao realizar esta pesquisa com crianças na Casa Abrigo, pretendo fazer emergir as suas narrativas, visto que os estudos que buscam “dar voz” às crianças ainda são bastante recentes no Brasil. As crianças, ao serem investigadas, estão imersas numa cultura e o que proponho é dar visibilidade às experiências vividas por elas neste espaço de abrigamento. A participação infantil pode ser definida na pesquisa como uma mediação que envolve a investigação sobre os mundos sociais e culturais que estão presentes no ser crianças abrigadas. O dar voz à criança, neste momento, me fez entender “o ter voz como um avanço sobre ser silenciado ou ignorado” (Prout, 2010, p.36). Esta pesquisa, no que se refere também à cultura das crianças abrigadas, destaca a necessidade de me situar sobre a realidade delas, colocando-me dentro da pesquisa, na escuta de suas vozes, na construção das atividades propostas como parte do processo investigativo. Sem a intenção de concluir, entendo, a partir deste trabalho, que a constituição das infâncias abrigadas é atravessada por vários discursos das mais diversas ordens, dentre elas, destaco os discursos do: controle, gênero, sexualidade, poder, valores, disciplinamento e normatização.

This “Childhood in Children’s Shelter” dissertation intends to discuss the ways children are produced and constituted from stories and places, time and space. This research deals with the “wars’” experienced by the children from a Casa children’s shelter. The family absence, the social vulnerability, the freedom deprivation, the doubt related to the remaining time to return home and the regress to the family are some of the “wars’” experienced by the children. In this research named “Children in Children’s Shelter: Children’s Impressions” we reached two questions: how are Children’s Shelter childhoods constituted and what are these subjects' impressions related to the sheltering experienced by the other children and themselves? These subjects’ participation in the whole research process instigated us to think about methodological instruments that required imagination and creativity. The focus was to discover the children's interpretations and impressions related to the places where they live. That approaches the children’s knowledge and culture. With this Children’s Shelter children’s research, we intend to make their narratives emerge. That is important, since Brazil researches concerned of listening to the children are recent. The children, when investigated, are immersed in a culture. We propose to give visibility to their experiences inside the shelter environment. The children’s participation can be defined in this research as a mediation that involves the investigation about the social and cultural worlds related to the fact that these children live in shelters. The process of listening to the children, at this moment, made me understand “ voice as having a head start on being silenced or ignored” (Prout, 2010, p.36). This research, referring to the “children’s in shelter” culture, highlights our necessity of situating ourselves in this children’s reality. As a part of the investigative process, we put ourselves inside the research, we listen to the children’s voices and build the proposed activities. I do not intend to conclude, but we understand, from this study, that the childhood in children’s shelter is crossed by many speeches from many perspectives. From these perspectives, we highlight: control, gender, sexuality, power, values, disciplining and normalization.
