Cuidem bem do meu filho : a ética do cuidado numa instituição filantrópica

Abstract

Essa dissertação é um estudo de caso que explicita e materializa os diferentes entendimentos da ética do cuidado numa instituição filantrópica, Comunidade Evangélica de Porto Alegre mantenedora do Centro Infantil Eugênia Conte - CIEC. Seu desenvolvimento resulta de uma descrição analítica do contexto empírico, a partir de uma reflexão teórica realizada desde diferentes perspectivas - a filosófica, a jurídica, a teológicaa, pedagógica. O cuIdíAdo é apresentado a partir de sua dimensão ético-ontológica o que possibilita construir uma ideia de éfíca do cuidado que se torna inteligível a partir dos seguintes elementos: o amor, a simpatia, o toque e os diferentes modo de afetar e a felicidade. A compreensão sobre a origem e o sentido das instituições contribui para a análise do fazer cotidiano do CIEC e a sua relação com os diferentes conceitos e entendimentos de filantropia mostrando que o fundamento de ética do cuidado dessa instituição está no dilema educar-assistir. Nesse dilema, ela constitui sua razão de ser, mostra a sua ocupação e preocupação bem como materializa as diferentes naturezas de sua ética do cuidado, dadas a partir do fazer cotidiano,da moral religiosa e do entendimento político, ético, jurídico do que seja filantropia. Este estudo de caso mostra que a gestão em educação acontece a partir dos e com os diferentes elementos e interpretações que formam o cotidiano de uma instituição.

The present dissertation is a case study, which explains and materializes different understandings of the ethics of care in a philanthropic institute, the Lutheran Evangelical Congregation in Porto Alegre, which sponsors the Children Center Eugênia Conte- CIEC. The development of this study results from the analytical description of the empirical context of that institute, and is based on a theoretical reflection that regards different points of view - the philosophical, the juridical, the theological and the pedagogical perspective. The Care is presented in its ethicontological dimension; this makes possible to build a concept of the ethics of care that becomes understandable in the context of the following elements: love, sympathy, touch, different ways of affection and hapiness. Understanding the origin and the sente of institutions helps to analyze the usual activities of the CIEC and its relations to the different concepts and interpretations of philanthropy. It algo shows that the ethical bases of that institute faces the dilemma: educate-help. In this dilemma, it builds its reason to be, it shows its occupation and concern and makes concrete the different natures of its ethics of care, that are given by its usual activities, its religious moral and its political, ethical and juridical conception of philanthropy.The present case study shows that the education management takes place from and with different elements and interpretations that make the daily activities of an institution.
