Competências digitais para o ensino fundamental : foco no aluno dos Anos Iniciais

Abstract

A presente dissertação tem como objetivo mapear e construir Competências Digitais (CD) para o aluno dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Além disso, foi desenvolvido um Plano de Ação com estratégias pedagógicas, cuja finalidade é nortear o trabalho do professor e da escola a fim de construir as CD com os seus alunos deste nível de ensino. A investigação abordou três eixos temáticos: Tecnologias Digitais (TD) na Educação; Competências Digitais; e o aluno dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Dessa forma, foi estabelecida uma relação entre o perfil do aluno da atualidade, bem como as suas necessidades e motivações ligadas à utilização das TD no contexto escolar. A pesquisa teve uma abordagem quali-quantitativa, utilizando-se de um Estudo de Caso único exploratório e ocorreu em sete etapas. Os dados coletados foram analisados através de análise de conteúdo. O Mapeamento Final identificou cinco Competências Digitais Gerais de Alfabetização Digital. São elas: Uso básico do computador (desktop, notebook) e dos dispositivos móveis (smartphone, tablet); Identificação e resolução de problemas; Recursos básicos de comunicação em rede; Cuidados básicos com a saúde e segurança digital; e Busca e tratamento de informações. Além disso, verificou sete CD Gerais de Letramento Digital, como: o Uso intermediário do computador (desktop, notebook) e dos dispositivos móveis (smartphone, tablet); Reconhecimento de padrões e algoritmos; Perfil ético e respeitoso na web; Criação e desenvolvimento de conteúdo digital; Cuidados intermediários com a segurança digital; Recursos intermediários de comunicação em rede; e Uso de mecanismos de gerenciamento e compartilhamento de informações. O Plano de Ação apresenta o cenário e as estratégias pedagógicas para construção da CD. Nesta investigação, constatou-se que este aluno está imerso nas tecnologias digitais, mas ao contrário do senso comum, não as domina como é suposto. Portanto, a necessidade de construir CD desde os Anos Iniciais torna-se imprescindível ao sujeito da sociedade atual para evitar, inclusive, situações de cyberbullying, fake news, plágio, entre tantos outros desafios elencados nesta investigação. Espera-se que este estudo contribua com o avanço nos estudos relativos às tecnologias digitais nos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental e que seja utilizado pelas escolas e professores que atuam nesta etapa da Educação Básica.

This dissertation aims to map and build Digital Competences (DC) for the student in the Early Years of Elementary School. In addition, an Action Plan with pedagogical strategies was developed, whose purpose is to guide the work of the teacher and the school in order to build the DC with their students at this level of education. The investigation covered three main themes: Digital Technologies (DT) in Education; Digital Competences; and the student in the Early Years of Elementary School. In this way, a relationship was established between the profile of today’s student, as well as his needs and motivations related to the use of DT in the school context. The research had a quali-quantitative approach, using a single exploratory Case Study and occurred in seven stages. The collected data were analyzed through content analysis. The Final Mapping identified five General Digital Competences for Digital Literacy, which are Basic use of the computer (desktop, notebook) and mobile devices (smartphone, tablet); Problem identification and resolution; Basic network communication resources; Basic health care and digital security; and Information search and treatment. In addition, it verified seven General Digital Literacy DC, such as: o Intermediate use of the computer (desktop, notebook) and mobile devices (smartphone, tablet); Recognition of patterns and algorithms; Ethical and respectful profile on the web; Creation and development of digital content; Intermediate care with digital security; Intermediate network communication resources; and Use of information management and sharing mechanisms. The Action Plan presents the scenario and pedagogical strategies for building the DC. In this investigation, it was found that this student is immersed in digital technologies but, contrary to common sense, he does not dominate them as is supposed. Therefore, the need to build DC since the Early Years becomes essential to the subject of today's society to avoid, even, situations of cyberbullying, fake news, plagiarism, among many other challenges listed in this investigation. It is expected that this study will contribute to the advances of studies related to digital tecnologies in the Early Years of Elementary Education and that it will be used by schools and teachers who work in this stage of Basic Education.
