Tecnologias digitais na sala de aula : o uso do software Graphmatica como ferramenta pedagógica

Abstract

A presente pesquisa aborda a utilização de recursos digitais no ensino e aprendizagem na disciplina de matemática. O objeto de estudo é a utilização do Software Graphmatica no estudo da Geometria Analítica na 3ª série do Ensino Médio e sua possível contribuição na construção de conhecimentos. O Software Graphmatica possibilita a construção de gráficos e a relação entre expressões algébricas e sua representação geométrica. Para verificar se houve contribuições na aprendizagem foi utilizada uma sequência de atividades envolvendo conceitos já estudados em uma turma da 3ª série do Ensino Médio de uma escola pública do município de Ijuí, na região noroeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Também foi aplicado um questionário aos alunos após a utilização do Software Graphmatica. Os alunos apresentaram algumas dificuldades com alguns botões de comando do software utilizado, porém conseguiram relacionar a representação algébrica e geométrica que é essencial no estudo da Geometria Analítica. Os resultados obtidos com a utilização desta proposta mostraram que o software, além de tornar as aulas mais dinâmicas, traz contribuições na construção de conceitos relacionados ao estudo da Geometria Analítica.

This research addresses the use of digital resources in teaching and learning in the discipline of mathematics. The object of study is the use of the Software Graphmatica in the study of analytic geometry in the 3rd grade of high school and its possible contribution to the knowledge. The Graphmatica Software enables the construction of graphs and the relationship between algebraic expressions and their geometric representation. To verify if there contributions to the learning we used a sequence of activities involving concepts already studied in a class of 3rd grade of high school in a public school in the city of Ijuí in the northwest of the state of Rio Grande do Sul was also applied a questionnaire to students after using the Software Graphmatica. The students had some difficulties with some command buttons on the software used, but were able to relate the algebraic and geometric representation that is essential in the study of analytic geometry. The results obtained from the use of this proposal showed that the software and make lessons more dynamic and includes contributions from the construction of concepts related to the study of analytic geometry.
