Ciranda de arte : leitura de textos/obras tridimensionais da artista Katsuko Nakano

Abstract

A tese “Ciranda de Arte: Leitura de Textos/Obras Tridimensionais da Artista Katsuko Nakano” foi desenvolvida tendo como foco principal a apreensão de sentidos nas realizações artísticas em cerâmica a partir dos pressupostos da teoria semiótica (Floch, Greimas, Oliveira). O tridimensional na arte contemporânea tem se destacado muito; e buscar estratégias para a sua leitura mostrou-se necessário e fundamental. Entender as obras tridimensionais como textos de uma linguagem que possui plano de expressão e de conteúdo possibilitou organizar, a partir da teoria em estudo, a leitura das obras buscando os efeitos de sentido que resultam dessa relação. Um referencial artístico da cerâmica foi estabelecido tendo em vista o entendimento dessa linguagem, em especial as instalações e as ambientações de Katsuko, bem como suas técnicas de execução a partir de uma contextualização. Na Ciranda de Arte, exposição dos textos/obras em cerâmica, presenciam-se o sensível e o cognoscível. Nestes espaços, são exploradas tais qualidades resultantes do contato entre a matéria barro e o contexto em que se encontram os textos/obras. A metodologia empregada para análise das instalações em exposição buscou olhar os diferentes modos de organização das obras e do espaço sendo o tratamento na análise relacional o que permitiu estabelecer conexões entre elas. A desmontagem das obras e a leitura das partes visaram a remontagem a fim de verificar como foi constituído o significado. As conclusões apontam que a materialidade, a gestualidade, a repetição na diferença e o ritmo dinâmico são conceitos instaurados e refletidos na pesquisa plástica da artista. Os resultados observáveis nessa pesquisa remetem em primeiro lugar para a verificação das mudanças ocorridas na escultura, nos tridimensionais, na contemporaneidade e em especial na cerâmica; e em segundo lugar para a leitura do tridimensional, analisado enquanto uma imagem, um texto/obra, que demonstrou ter sua viabilidade de análise a partir da semiótica.

The dissertation “Dance of Art: the Reading of Three-dimensional Texts/Artistic Creations from the artist Katsuko Nakano” was developed having as its main focus the grasping of senses in the artistic accomplishments in ceramics based on the assumptions of the semiotic theory (Floch, Greimas, Oliveira). The three-dimensional element in contemporary art has been highlighted, and searching for strategies related to its reading has become necessary and fundamental. Understanding threedimensional artistic creations as texts with a language that has an expression and content plan has made it possible to organize the reading of the works based on the theory that has been studied searching for the effects in the meaning which result from this relation. An artistic reference to ceramics was established taking into account the understanding of this language, in special the installations and the ambientations by Katsuko, as well as her execution techniques from a contextualization. In Dance of Art, exhibitions of texts/artistic creations in ceramics, the sensitive and the cognition are noticeable. In these spaces, such qualities, resulting from the contact between the material clay and the context in which text/artistic creations are found, are explored. The methodology used for the analysis of the installations exhibited searched for looking at different ways of organizing the pieces and the space, and the treatment in the analysis was relational allowing the establishment of connections among them. The disassembling of the pieces and the reading of the parts aimed at reassembling in order to check how meaning was constituted. The conclusions point out that the materiality, the gesture ability, the repetition in the difference and the dynamic rhythm are concepts that appear installed and reflected in the research of the artist. The results which were observed in this research address to the verification of changes that occurred in the sculptures, in the three-dimensional pieces, in the contemporary aspect and in special to the ceramics in the first place, and in a second place to the reading of the three-dimensional that was analyzed as an image, a text/artistic creation which demonstrated having its viability of analysis based on the semiotics.
