Assédio moral no trabalho doméstico e seus impactos na saúde mental das empregadas domésticas

Abstract

O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso pretende analisar o fenômeno do assédio moral no ambiente de trabalho doméstico e seus impactos negativos na saúde das empregadas domésticas. O objetivo principal desta pesquisa é demonstrar, com embasamento em uma revisão de literatura, a definição de assédio moral e seus impactos na saúde mental das empregadas domésticas. A base da justificativa do tema está relacionada com a invisibilidade do assédio moral no ambiente de trabalho doméstico e como a origem deste trabalho e outras construções sociais intensificam o abuso no âmbito doméstico. Outro objetivo do trabalho foi evidenciar a dificuldade probatória em demonstrar este tipo de assédio. Ao longo da pesquisa serão abordados os principais transtornos despertados pelo assédio moral e suas consequências na vida da empregada doméstica. A metodologia utilizada nesta pesquisa foi a revisão de literatura qualitativa e descritiva e, quanto aos meios, utilizou-se pesquisas bibliográficas com base na legislação e jurisprudência, assim como livros físicos e artigos científicos. Portanto, no final do trabalho ficou evidente que o assédio moral no ambiente do trabalho doméstico tem impactos profundamente significativos na saúde mental das empregadas domésticas. A pesquisa realizada demonstrou que o assédio moral não é apenas uma ocorrência isolada, mas uma realidade frequente e devastadora que prejudica severamente a vida das vítimas, tanto em termos psicológicos quanto físicos.

This paper aims to analyze the phenomenon of moral harassment in the domestic work environment and its negative impacts on the health of domestic workers. The main purpose of this research is to demonstrate, based on a literature review, the definition of moral harassment and its impacts on the mental health of domestic workers. The basis of the theme's justification is related to the invisibility of moral harassment in the domestic work environment and how the origin of this work and other social constructions intensify the abuse in the domestic environment. Another goal of this research is to highlight the evidentiary difficulty in demonstrating this type of harassment. Throughout the research, the main disorders caused by moral harassment and its consequences in the lives of domestic workers will be addressed. The methodology used in this research was a qualitative and descriptive literature review and, regarding the means, bibliographic research was used based on legislation and jurisprudence, as well as physical books and scientific articles. Therefore, at the end of the study, it became evident that moral harassment in the domestic work environment has significant impacts on the mental health of domestic workers. The research conducted demonstrated that moral harassment is not just an isolated occurrence but a frequent and devastating reality that harms the lives of victims, both in psychological and physical terms.
