dc.description.abstractEsta tese busca discutir as narrativas das crianças que habitam o quilombo Alto do Tamanduá, no Sertão de Alagoas, acerca de seus modos de ser criança, buscando caracterizar ali os saberes produzidos e postos em circulação por meio da tradição oral. Para tanto, filia-se ao campo de estudos sociais da infância, constituindo diálogos principalmente com a sociologia da infância e com a antropologia da criança, além de ser margeada por referenciais que tramam conversações com a cultura e cosmovisões africanas. Dessa filiação teórica, resultou a noção de criança quilombola sertaneja enquanto sujeito de direitos, com agência infantil e protagonismo social, que mergulha na memória coletiva e na tradição oral que adornam as vivências histórico-sociais das comunidades remanescentes de quilombos, sobretudo dos encontros intergeracionais em que pulula a ancestralidade afro-brasileira. As andanças e os encontros constituíram-se enquanto potentes tramas metodológicas, que resultaram em rodas de conversa. Estas foram realizadas em diferentes espaços da comunidade, como a igreja, a praça, a árvore figueira, o açude, a carroceria do caminhão e a casa abandonada, e, de forma geral, possibilitou-nos, entre os anos de 2017 e 2021, estar e conversar com as crianças sobre temáticas que atravessam suas existências no Alto do Tamanduá, de modo que, a partir desse processo, foi possível compreender que essas crianças, de acordo com sua posição cognoscitiva e com seus condicionantes históricos, são capazes de contribuir com leituras críticas das sociedades e comunidades a que pertencem. Mas nem sempre são assim vistas e, por vezes, ao dobrarem a esquina das relações de poder, deparam-se com distintas linguagens maquinadas no/pelo mundo adultocentrado. Assim, a arquitetura desta tese funda-se no desejo teórico-metodológico de contribuir para o ascendimento das crianças e suas infâncias nos territórios quilombolas.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractThis thesis aims to investigate the narrative of children living in the quilombola territory of Alto do Tamanduá – in Alagoas backlands – about their ways of being a child, in an effort to characterize the knowledge produced and transmitted through oral tradition. To do so, it joins fields of study such as the sociology of childhood, the geography of childhood and the anthropology of childhood, and also frames references in order to enlace conversations with the African culture and its worldview. From this theoretical approach resulted the concept of perceiving quilombola children as a person entitled to rights, with an agenda towards childhood and social protagonism, who dive in the collective memory and oral tradition that adorns social and historical experiences of quilombo’s remaining communities – especially regarding the intergenerational encounters that pullulates Afro-Brazilian ancestry. The walks and meetings became powerful methodological webs, resulting in a conversation wheel that occurred in different places of the community, such as the church, the plaza, the fig tree, the weir, the back of a truck and in an abandoned house, and it mostly turned out possible to us to be present – between 2017 and 2021 – and talk to children about the mess that passes through their existence in Alto do Tamanduá in such a way that it became possible to comprehend that those children are capable – according to their cognitive position and historical condition – to contribute with a critic interpretation of the societies and communities they live in. In Alto do Tamanduá, children get involved in the more diverse social webs, such as familiar, cultural and religious webs, either in public or in private spaces, assuming in their daily struggle – when “falling into the world” – ways of opposing languages that are hegemonic, producing new meanings about what it is to be quilombola in the bond of what is called new communities. But it is not always like this, and sometimes when turning around the corner of power relations they face distinct languages contrived by and for the adult centered world. Thus, this thesis architecture is based on the theoretical and methodological will to contribute to the rise of children and of their childhood in quilombola territory.en
dc.description.abstractCette thèse cherche à discuter les récits des enfants qui habitent le quilombo Alto do Tamanduá, dans le Sertão d’Alagoas, sur leurs manières d’être enfant, en cherchant à caractériser les connaissances produites et mises en circulation là-bas par la tradition orale. À cette fin, il est affilié au domaine des études sociales de l’enfance, en dialoguant principalement avec la sociologie de l’enfance et avec l’anthropologie des enfants, en plus d’être entouré de références qui engagent des conversations avec la culture et les cosmovisions africaines. De cette affiliation théorique est née la notion de l’enfant quilombola du Sertão comme sujet de droits, avec une agence enfantine et un protagonisme social, qui plonge dans la mémoire collective et la tradition orale qui ornent les expériences historiques et sociales des communautés quilombolas restantes, en particulier les rencontres intergénérationnelles dans lesquelles palpite l’ancestralité afro-brésilienne. Les promenades et les rencontres ont été constituées comme de puissantes intrigues méthodologiques, qui ont donné lieu à des séries de conversations. Celles-ci ont eu lieu dans différents espaces communautaires, comme l’église, la place, le figuier, le déversoir, la carcasse du camion et la maison abandonnée. En général, entre les années 2017 et 2021, nous avons pu être avec les enfants et leur parler de thèmes qui traversent leur existence à Alto do Tamanduá, de sorte que, à partir de ce processus, il a été possible de comprendre que ces enfants, selon leur position cognitive et leurs conditionnements historiques, sont capables de contribuer à des lectures critiques des sociétés et des communautés auxquelles ils appartiennent. À Alto do Tamanduá, ils s’impliquent dans les réseaux sociaux les plus divers, qu’ils soient de nature familiale, culturelle et religieuse, dans des environnements publics et privés, et assument, dans leurs luttes quotidiennes – lorsqu’ils « tombent dans le monde » – des modes d’opposition aux langages hégémoniques, produisant de nouvelles significations sur ce que c’est qu’être une quilombola dans les liaisons des dites néo-communautés. Mais ils ne sont pas toujours vus comme ça, et parfois, lorsqu’ils prennent le virage des relations de pouvoir, ils se heurtent à des langages différents usinés dans/par le monde centré sur les adultes. Ainsi, l’architecture de cette thèse repose sur la volonté théorique et méthodologique de contribuer à l’essor des enfants et de leurs enfances dans les territoires quilombos.fr
