A moral da história : como se fabrica um cidadão

Abstract

Esta dissertação trata da vida e da morte. Uma vida fabricada nas malhas do discurso; uma vida cantada pelos acordes invisíveis do verbo; uma vida criada pelo olhar e pela palavra; enfim, uma vida que ao espelho se mostra e desvenda sua própria sujeição. Este trabalho se ocupa, pois, do discurso- do discurso marxista no ensino de história; estuda as estratégias teóricas desse discurso como dispositivos de produção do sujeito-cidadão na escola. Tanto as declarações sobre a história elaboradas sob os auspícios do marxismo quanto a idéia de que o ensino de história é um dos espaços onde se desvelará a essência cidadã dos homens assumiram centralidade no interior da disciplina de História, justificando um estudo das diversas estratégias teóricas através das quais o discurso fabrica a alma do indivíduo. Para realizar esta análise me utilizei da perspectiva teórica foucaultiana, assumindo, como ferramentas analíticas, as noções de discurso, poder e sujeito que Foucault deixou, suavemente, escapar ao longo de sua escritura. Essas noções foram utilizadas como perspectiva de leitura dos enunciados do discurso marxista, encontrados em publicações didáticas de história para o primeiro e segundo graus. Poesia e ciência se misturam, nesta dissertação. para dar forma a análise de um objeto teórico que tem servido de instrumento para a elaboração de asserções de verdade acerca da história e para a constituição da subjetividade dos estudantes.

This work is about Iife and death. A life built in the realm of the discourse; a life sung by the invisible chords ofthe verb; a Iife created by the sight and and by the word; at Iast, a life that in the mirror shows itself and reveals its own subjection. This work, therefore, deals with the discourse - the marxist discourse in history teaching; it studies the theoretical techniques of this discourse as mechanisms of creation of the citizen-subject in school. Both declarations about history elaborated under the auspices of the marxism and the idea that history teaching is one of the places where the essence of the citizen-school will be disclosed have assumed a central place in the heart of the history subject, what justifies a study of the different techniques through which the discourse forms one's soul. In order to accomplish this analyisis, I have used Foulcault's theoretical perspective, assuming, as analitic tools, the notions of discourse, power and subject, smoothly left by Foucault along his writings. These notions were used as reading perspectives of the statements of the marxist discourse, found in pedagogical publications o f history in primary and secondary schools. Poetry and science are mingled in this work to shape the analysis of a theoretical object that has been used as an instrument to elaborate assertions of thruth about history and to constitute students subjectivity.
