Among the discussions pertaining to the field of education, this study addresses the continued training of teachers, on the job, within the scope of a research-extension project carried out at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Projeto Civitas, connected to the Laboratory of Language, Interaction, and Cognition Studies (LELIC/UFRGS). Our research looks into LELIC's joint efforts with the city of Cruzeiro do Sul and the Pedagogical University of Mozambique towards the continued training of teachers and managers working in the first years of basic education. The problems examined in this study seek to understand how the subjects, from the standpoint of the ethics of otherness, relate to the education provided through the agreements signed on the aforementioned Project, and as this relationship takes place, show which (some) meanings produced by the interacting subjects refresh how they narrate and aesthetically compose their own training, meanings which derive from speaking, seeing, and listening. Our theoretical interlocutions are based on Mikhail Bakhtin's studies as we seek to build a dialogic relationship that is otherness-oriented and open to an ethical-political and aesthetic action as it finds from narratives of experiences in teacher training spaces a way of giving meaning to said experiences. In this context, the narratives operate as a methodological strategy by this study and derive from a responsive, creative understanding capable of creating, through an exotopic displacement, an aesthetic/ethical/enunciative process of narrating. The researcher's relationship with the research subjects marks a position of implication with the empirical field and the research itself. The conclusions show that the narratives trigger a spectrum of core ideas stemming from the subjects' enunciative positions which, as they steer themselves towards dialogical relationships, acquire the potential to expand and make up a network of ideas that provide a map for continued education that, albeit not standing as a model, offers the possibility for establishing a unique space/time for education that is rich in otherness and open to creation.en
