Results of numerical simulations of the NASA Common Research Model, from the IV AIAA Drag Prediction Workshop, obtained with the finite volume commercial software ANSYS® Fluent are presented and discussed in this work. A grid quality study is performed using a GCI (Grid Convergence Index) methodology. This work may be considered as a contribution to the improvement of the capacity of aircraft drag prediction using numerical methods for the solution of the fluid dynamics equations. Results are validated through a comparison with numerical and experimental results published by other researchers. Results obtained for the drag and pressure coefficients are in good agreement with those obtained by the Workshop participants and also with simulations carried in wind tunnel tests. ...
