Bullying : conncepções dos profissionais da educação e alunos

Abstract

Atualmente, a agressividade e a indisciplina escolar têm merecido destaque na pauta das reuniões pedagógicas em muitas instituições de ensino, gerando opiniões diversificadas sobre suas causas e consequências e promovendo debates, muitas vezes sem nenhuma conclusão, sobre os mesmos. Discorrer e refletir sobre o tema não é um assunto novo, porém, muito recentemente, recebeu uma nova denominação: bullying. A realidade escolar continuamente nos remete a reflexões, principalmente com relação ao nosso exercício diário como professores. Entre os temas que exigem esta reflexão está a prática do bullying, um termo já conhecido pela sociedade, mas, mesmo assim, ainda não compreendido em seus vários aspectos, sendo confundido, erroneamente, com atos indisciplinares e atitudes agressivas, que são, também, preocupantes e merecem a atenção da comunidade escolar. Este trabalho foi objetivado pelo propósito de refletir sobre o fenômeno do bullying dentro dos muros escolares. Através de questionário respondido por profissionais de educação e duas turmas, uma de 5ª e outra de 8ª série, de uma escola pública municipal, verifiquei e relacionei as compreensões, semelhantes ou adversas, que o público alvo tem sobre o tema. Foi desenvolvido, após o questionário, com as duas turmas, uma exposição de imagens e textos que tiveram como objetivo principal conscientizar os alunos de que a juventude atual é a esperança de um futuro mais promissor e que dela depende, principalmente, o reverso de todos esses sentimentos de raiva e violência que têm gerado trágicas consequências. Nesta exposição, constou o conceito da palavra bullying, textos que promoviam a reflexão e sensibilização dos alunos visando sua autoestima e um vídeo de uma palestra de um deficiente físico que superou os obstáculos decorrentes de sua deficiência. A partir das respostas dos questionários, de alunos e profissionais de educação, conclui que o assunto bullying é muito pouco conhecido entre o público entrevistado, sendo confundido, como citado anteriormente, com atos de indisciplina e violência. Não que o bullying não seja caracterizado como um ato de violência, mas se diferencia pela frequência em que é praticado, pelo alvo que pretende atingir e pelos resultados que promove. Toda criança tem direito à educação e é dever da escola garantir o seu acesso a um ambiente sadio e livre de toda ou qualquer discriminação. A escola, como ambiente social que reúne grupos e onde são oportunizadas relações interpessoais é palco, também, da maioria dos casos de bullying de que se tem conhecimento e tem, portanto, o dever supremo de contribuir para o desenvolvimento moral de seus alunos, pois este desenvolvimento também faz parte da aprendizagem. É urgente que a comunidade escolar tenha amplo conhecimento sobre o assunto, pois o bullying é uma prática crescente, com sérias consequências e que tem preocupado toda a sociedade. Uma vez que a escola é um lugar onde se fazem amigos e a meta da educação é a de formar indivíduos autônomos e cooperativos, esta tem o dever de garantir a socialização e a formação moral de seus discípulos, afiançando, assim, a harmonia entre sua população e uma geração mais pacífica.

Currently, the school aggression and indiscipline have been highlights in the agenda of the meetings in many educational institutions of education, generating diverse opinions about its causes and consequences, including holding hearings, often without any conclusion about them. Discuss and reflect on the theme is not a new subject, but, very recently received a new name: bullying. The school reality continually refers to ideas, especially with regard to our daily practice as teachers. Among the issues that require this reflection, are the practice of bullying, a term already known by the company, but still not yet understood in its various aspects, being confused erroneously with unruly and aggressive acts, which are also concern and deserves the attention of the school community. This work was aimed for reflecting on the phenomenon of bullying within the school walls. Through a questionnaire answered by professionals in education and two classes, one of fifth and another 8th grade in a public school, checked and listed understandings, or similar adverse conditions, the target audience has on the subject. It was developed after the questionnaire with two classes, an exhibition of images and texts that had as main objective to educate students that today’s youth is the hope of a brighter future and that it depends mainly on the reverse of all these feelings of anger and violence that have caused tragic consequences. In this exhibition, the concept consisted of the word bullying, texts that promoted reflection and awareness of students seeking their self-esteem and a video of a lecture by a disabled person who has overcome obstacles arising from their disability. From the questionnaire responses, students and school officials, concludes that the issue bullying very little is known among the public respondent, being confused, as previously mentioned, with acts of indiscipline and violence. Not that bullying is not characterized as an act of violence, but differs in the frequency that is practiced by the target you want to achieve and the results it promotes. Every child has the right to educations is the duty of the school and ensure their access to a healthy and free from any discrimination or anything. The school as a social environment that brings together groups and where interpersonal relationships are opportunized stage is also the most cases of bullying that is known and is therefore the supreme duty of contributing to the moral development of their students, because this development is also part of learning. It is urgent that the school community has extensive knowledge on the subject, because bullying is a growing practice with serious consequences and that has worried the whole society. Since the school is a place where they make friends and goal of education is to form cooperative and autonomous individuals, it has a duty to ensure socialization and moral training of his disciples, bailing, well, the harmony between population and a more peaceful generation.
