Oficinas interdisciplinares : uma proposta para a construção de valores e conhecimentos sobre o Morro Santana, Porto Alegre, Rs

Abstract

Este artigo traz a experiência de intercâmbio entre uma ação de extensão e o contexto curricular do Projeto Amora do Colégio de Aplicação/UFRGS, realizada no primeiro semestre de 2009. Os objetivos foram: valorizar o Morro Santana como local para vivenciar a natureza, inserir a Educação Ambiental na educação formal e construir conhecimentos de Ciências, Educação Física, História e Geografi a. Foram realizadas diferen-tes atividades interdisciplinares envolvendo alunos e professores. Concluiu-se que, quando as atividades são estruturadas, na escola, por meio de uma abordagem interdisciplinar e de práticas de Educação Ambiental, colaboram para a construção de conceitos que são comuns às áreas do conhecimento e ampliam a compre-ensão dos conteúdos e das habilidades específi cas de cada área, enriquecendo as aulas e formando valores ambientais.

This article brings into focus the experience of an exchange between an extension action and the curricular context of the Amora Project of the ‘Aplicação/UFRGS’ school, that happened in the fi rst semester of 2009. The objectives were: to value the Santana hill as a place to live the nature, to insert the Environmental Education in the formal education and to build knowledge about Sciences, Physical Education, History and Geography. There were different interdisciplinary activities involving students and teachers. It was concluded that when the activities are structured, in the school, by means of an inter-disciplinary approach and Environmental Education practices, they collaborate to the construction of common concepts to the fi elds of knowledge and they increase the comprehension of the contents and of the specifi c abilities of each fi eld, enriching the classes and building the environmental values.
