Formação de acervos negros em museus do litoral de Santa Catarina: diálogos com a Política Nacional de Museus (1988-2016)

Abstract

A pesquisa apresentada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Museologia e Patrimônio da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (PPGMusPa/UFRGS) visa compreender a influência da Política Nacional de Museus (PNM) e a inserção de novas memórias em museus de cidades do litoral catarinense, onde ocorreu a presença de escravizados. A pesquisa compreende analisar como a PNM foi utilizada para inclusão de acervos negros nos museus das cidades de Itajaí, Laguna, São Francisco do Sul e São José, entre 1988 e 2016. Dentro da perspectiva museológica, se utiliza dos conceitos de representação, negritude e decolonialidade. Foi realizado levantamento bibliográfico e de dados referentes às instituições por meio de fontes documentais e dos apontamentos dos acervos através de arrolamentos, registros, inventários e planejamentos dos Museus. Foram aplicadas entrevistas semiestruturadas aos membros de coordenação e técnicos das instituições, bem como representantes da comunidade negra local. Buscou compreender a formação desses acervos e quais foram os diálogos existentes entre a comunidade negra e as instituições, destacando sua importância para a Museologia no Brasil.

The research presented to the Graduate Programin Museology and Heritage at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (PPGMusPa/UFRGS) has the aim to understand the influence of the National Museum Policy (PNM) and the insertion of new memories in museums in coast cities catarinense, where the presence of enslaved people occurred. The research understands analyzing how the PNM wasused to include black collections in the museums of the cities of Itajaí, Laguna, São Francisco do Sul and São José, between 1988 and 2016. Withinthe museological perspective, it uses the concepts of representation, blackness and decoloniality. A bibliographic and data survey was carried out regarding the institutions through documentary sources and notes on the collections through lists, records, inventories and plans of the Museums. Semi-structured interviews were applied to the institutions' coordination members and technicians, as well as representatives of the localblack community. We sought to understand the formation of these collections and what were the existing dialogues among the black community and the institutions, highlighting their importancefor Museology in Brazil.
