Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar - Pronaf

Abstract

Esse estudo pesquisa visa apresentar uma abordagem sobre “Concepções sobre a Agricultura Sustentável de Pequenas Propriedades Catarinenses - Destacando o Município de Agronômica”, Principalmente, por reconhecer que o estado de Santa Catarina, pela sua diversidade, pela riqueza de seu patrimônio natural e pela estrutura fundiária, distingue-se pela presença da agricultura familiar nas pequenas propriedades rurais diluídas em seus Municípios. Sendo que essas propriedades rurais se destacam pela importância social e econômica através de seus produtos de origem vegetal e de origem animal, tornando o Estado um dos principais fornecedores de alimentos do País. Nesse contexto, destaca-se o Município de Agronômica, por ter um papel de grande relevo no processo da agropecuária, que objetiva integrar o agricultor e sua família no meio rural, pela adoção de políticas públicas a nível federal, estadual e municipal. Tem como um dos esteios o Pronaf (Programa Nacional de Agricultura Familiar) em parceria com o Banco do Brasil através do Plano Rural: 2008-2009, além de outras instituições, que estimulam e apóiam a agricultura alternativa, convencional e orgânica ou mesmo de outras modalidades entre outras atividades. Desta forma, os produtores terão maior estrutura para enfrentar os impactos adversos da globalização, juntamente com as condições internas de mercado desfavoráveis que afetam fortemente o meio rural. Se houver parcerias, haverá maior desenvolvimento nas propriedades rurais, e os produtores sentir-se-ão mais seguros e terá maior nível de satisfação, bem-estar econômico, social e ambiental, de modo em geral.

This research-study aims at presenting a discussion on “Conceptions on the Sustainable Agriculture of Small Catarinense Properties - Focusing the City of Agronômica”; mainly for recognizing that the State of Santa Catarina, due to its diversity, rich natural patrimony and agrarian structure is distinguished for the presence of familiar agriculture in the small properties spread in its Cities. Such rural properties are considered relevant for the social and economic importance because of their vegetal and animal origin products, which makes the Santa Catarina State one of the main food suppliers of the Country. In this context, the City of Agronômica is distinguished for having an important role in the farming process, and it aims at integrating the agriculturist and his/her family in the agricultural context by following public policies - on federal, state and municipal level. One of the supports is PRONAF (National Program of Familiar Agriculture) in partnership with the Banco do Brasil (Bank of Brazil) through the Agricultural Plan: 2008 - 2009, also counting on other institutions that stimulate and support alternative, conventional and organic agriculture or even other modalities among diverse ones. In such a way, the producers will have a greater structure to face the adverse impacts of the globalization and the unfavorable internal conditions of market that badly affect the agriculture. If there are partnerships, there will be a greater development in the rural properties, the agriculturists will feel safer and there will be a greater satisfaction level, and economic, social and environmental wellness on a general way.
