Conceitos-chave sobre variação linguística nas redações de pré-vestibulandos : do terror ao estrangeiro ao preconceito linguístico

Abstract

Este trabalho busca analisar o distanciamento entre o discurso científico – da Sociolinguística – e o repertório de alunos em processo preparatório para os concursos vestibulares. A pesquisa foi realizada através da análise de redações produzidas por alunos de um curso pré-Vestibular de Porto Alegre-RS, dos quais foram selecionados trechos que avaliaram o uso de estrangeirismos entre falantes do português brasileiro. A partir da comparação entre ciência, legislação educacional e repertório dos alunos, pode-se perceber que há incongruências entre o que a sociolinguística atribui como verdade e o que chega ao texto dos estudantes ao final do ensino básico. Por fim, há a apresentação de hipóteses para a existência do fenômeno apresentado.

This work seeks to analyze the distance between scientific discourse – Sociolinguistics – and repertoire of students in preparatory process for the college entrance examination. This research was realized from the analysis of texts that were produced by students from an education institution in Porto Alegre-RS, and then some parts were selected, mostly the ones that evaluated the use of foreignism between Brazilian Portuguese speakers. From the comparation between science, educational legislation and student’s repertoire, it’s correct to affirm that are inconsistencies between what sociolinguistics attributes as truth and what becomes text of students that are finishing high school. Finally, there is the presentation of hypothesis for the existence of the phenomenon.
