The present work makes an interlocution between the field of psychoanalysis and early childhood education. The research field is the nursery school, which was approached from its history of constitution in Brazil, the laws that go through it and the professional relationships in the institution, characteristics that make up the execution of work with babies. Psychic development, from the baby's first months of life, is taken from the sewing of the concept of intersubjectivity and the contributions of psychoanalysis, emphasizing the valuable subjective co-constructions between adult and baby. In the early childhood scenario, the educator is the adult responsible for accompanying the baby for many hours of the day, due to the troubled routine of the parents; thus, these professionals are participants in the baby's subjectification process. The pair of educators from the nursery school and baby are the protagonists of this work and the emphasis is on analyzing the subjective exchanges between them in the scenes of playing. One of the indicators of intersubjectivity, called interludicity, helps to highlight the importance of adult participation in scenes of play and how playful co-constructions structure the baby's psyche. The theme of playfulness was explored in the field of psychoanalysis and education, in order to raise contributions from one area to another in this theme. The analysis of a playful scene was chosen in order to trigger discussions about encounters and mismatches between an educator and a baby in a nursery class. As reflections, bulletins, address the power of playful co-constructions for the development of a baby. In the second point of analysis, some excerpts from the educator's speeches were taken to reflect on: the results for the presence of the adult in the playful scene, the institutional crossings in the educator's routine and the challenges of her communication with the babies. All the analyzes raised are crossed by the eyes of a psychoanalytic researcher.en
