O uso de softwares educacionais na alfabetização matemática

Abstract

A presente Monografia apresenta uma pesquisa que aborda o uso de Softwares Educacionais na alfabetização matemática. O problema de pesquisa que orientou o desenvolvimento desse estudo foi: como o uso de Tecnologias Digitais (TD) pode contribuir para a alfabetização matemática? Desse modo, o objetivo geral da investigação foi avaliar alguns softwares inseridos na categoria de alfabetização matemática, a fim de identificar e analisar suas contribuições nesse campo. O referencial teórico se sustentou em autores que abordam alfabetização matemática, Tecnologias Digitais para alfabetização matemática, avaliação de softwares e de Objetos Digitais de Aprendizagem. Para dar conta de responder ao problema de pesquisa e atender a seus objetivos, empreendeu-se uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, na qual foram avaliadas alguns softwares educacionais previamente selecionados. Como resultados, observou-se que os softwares educacionais podem contribuir nos processos de alfabetização matemática e, a partir análise de algumas delas, pode-se sugerir seu uso em sala de aula, no intuito de apoiar o trabalho do docente, despertando o interesse do aluno pela matemática e desenvolvendo o raciocínio lógico-matemático, desde que seja baseado em um planejamento adequado.

The present Monograph presents a research that addresses the use of Educational Software in mathematical literacy. The research problem that guided the development of this study was: how can the use of Digital Technologies (TD) contribute to mathematical literacy? Thus, the general objective of the research was to evaluate some softwares inserted in the category of mathematical literacy, in order to identify and analyze their contributions in this field. The theoretical framework was based on authors who approach mathematical literacy, Digital Technologies for mathematical literacy, evaluation of software and Digital Learning Objects. In order to account for responding to the research problem and meeting its objectives, a qualitative research was undertaken, in which some previously selected educational software was evaluated. As results, it was observed that educational software can contribute to the processes of mathematical literacy and, from the analysis of some of them, it can be suggested its use in the classroom, in order to support the work of the teacher, arousing the interest of the student for mathematics and developing logical-mathematical reasoning, as long as it is based on adequate planning.
