O sistema audiotutorial no ensino de física geral

Abstract

São descritas três etapas de uma experiência com o Sis tema Audiotutorial no ensino de FÍsica Geral da UFRGS . Nas duas primeiras etapas o Sistema Audiotutorial e comparado com o ensino tradicional e na terceira é associado a e comparado com o Método Keller. A análise do Sistema Audiotutorial é feita tendo em vista o aproveitamento, o tempo médio de e studo, as desistências e a opinião dos alunos, bem como os custos de aplicação e reapli c ação do sistemao são apresentados dados para a montagem de um Centro de Aprendizagem para uti lização do Sistema Audiotutorial. A partir das conclusões são sugeridas algumas atividades para ap rimorament~ do sistema e para f uturas pesquisas do processo ensino-aprendizagem.

An experiment in three stages is described in which the Audio-tutorial system of teaching is applied to a course in College Physics at UFRGS. In the first tw stages the Audio-tutorial system is compared with the tradi tional system and in the third, a combination of this system with the Keller plan is compared with the Keller plan alone. The Audio-tutorial system is analysed in terms of achievement, mean time taken in study, withdrawals, and in terms of student opinion. In addition, the costs of application and reapplication of the system are analysed. Information is given about the organization and cons truction involved in developing the Learning Centre required for the Audio-tutorial system. Following the conclusions some suggestions for possible improvements of the systern are put forward and a number of lines for further research into the teaching/learning process are indicated.
