Introdução: A reabilitação auditiva para anacusia unilateral pode ser realizada por aparelhos de amplificação sonora individuais especiais denominados Contralateral Routing of Signal ou Bilateral Routing of Signal. Objetivos: Verificar a satisfação dos usuários de aparelhos auditivos Contralateral Routing of Signal e Bilateral Routing of Signal com tecnologia wireless e avaliar seus efeitos psicossociais. Métodos: Foram avaliados 12 pacientes, cinco do gênero feminino e sete do gênero masculino, com idade de 18 a 81 anos. Todos os participantes foram submetidos à avaliação otorrinolaringológica, anamnese, audiometria tonal liminar, audiometria vocal, medidas de imitância acústica e ao questionário Hearing Handicap Inventory for Adult Screening Verson. Após o questionário foi realizada adaptação Contralateral Routing of Signal em pacientes com anacusia unilateral e orelha contralateral com limiares auditivos normais e Bilateral Routing of Signal naqueles que apresentaram anacusia unilateral e orelha contralateral com perda auditiva. Os pacientes fizeram uso durante 12 dias e logo após foram aplicados os questionários Hearing Handicap Inventory for Adult Screening Verson e questionário internacional de aparelho de amplificação sonora individual. Resultados: Verificamos que houve diferença estatisticamente significante (p<0,000) entre as respostas obtidas nos questionários aplicados antes e após o uso dos aparelhos auditivos. Conclusão: Observamos por meio dos questionários aplicados que existe satisfação e benefícios psicossociais nos usuários de aparelhos auditivos Contralateral Routing of Signal e Bilateral Routing of Signal com tecnologia wireless. ...

Introduction: Auditory rehabilitation for unilateral anacousia may be performed by personal sound amplification devices known as Contralateral Routing of Signal or Bilateral Routing of Signal. Objectives: check how satisfied users are with their hearing aids Contralateral Routing of Bilateral Signal and Bilateral Routing of Signal, with wireless technology, and assess their related psychosocial effects. Methods: 12 patients have been assessed, five females and seven males, aged 18-81 years. All subjects underwent otorhinolaryngologic evaluation, anamnesis, pure tone audiometry, vocal audiometry, acoustic immitance tests and the questionnaire Hearing Handicap Inventory for Adult Screening Version. Following the questionnaire, a Contralateral Routing of Signal adjustment was carried out in patients with unilateral anacousia and contralateral ears with normal auditory thresholds, and a Bilateral Routing of Signal in those showing unilateral anacousia and contralateral ears with hearing loss. Patients used them for 12 days, after which the questionnaires Hearing Handicap Inventory for Adult Screening Version and International Individual Sound Amplification Apparatus were applied. Results: There has been found that there was a statistically-significant difference (p<0.000) between the responses obtained from the questionnaires applied before and after the use of hearing aids.
