O presente trabalho tem como objetivo geral verificar se as estratégias e as ações que foram implementadas na qualificação do serviço de pré-natal foram efetivas, e se serviram para reduzir e consolidar em curva descendente o índice de mortalidade infantil no município de São Sepé. Objetiva também a proposição de novas estratégias e ações para resolução de óbitos residuais. Apresenta também os critérios necessários para a implementação de uma rede de atenção preventiva, obstétrica e neonatal bem como os objetivos da mesma. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos foi realizada uma análise qualitativa de gráficos e tabelas construídos a partir de dados obtidos nos sistemas de informações e bancos de dados do município. Com a realização do trabalho foi possível concluir que com dedicação, técnica, assistência comprometida, perseverança e trabalho em rede é possível qualificar o atendimento de pré-natal, reduzir os índices de mortalidade infantil, com certeza o fortalecimento das redes de atenção são fundamentais para a efetivação e manutenção dos resultados obtidos no trabalho realizado em Políticas Públicas de Saúde. ...
