Revolução das crianças, das mulheres e dos homens : as representações da Nicarágua no livro de Caco Barcellos

Abstract

A presente pesquisa se propõe a analisar as representações da Nicarágua no livro Nicarágua: a revolução das crianças de Caco Barcellos. O objetivo é verificar como o autor se refere às partes envolvidas na revolução sandinista em cada etapa do conflito. Para isso, dividiu-se o tempo de captação do repórter no front em períodos, e mapeou-se, dentro destes, as referências ao povo, à ditadura, à guerrilha e à imprensa, além dos personagens apresentados. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise de conteúdo. No percurso desta análise, realizou-se uma revisão sobre o livroreportagem além de uma breve revisão da história da Nicarágua para situar os acontecimentos descritos no livro. Movido pelo espírito de repórter, Caco Barcellos arrisca sua vida para conseguir se aproximar das pessoas, entendê-las e representá-las da maneira mais aprofundada possível.

This research aims to analyze the representations of Nicaragua in the book “Nicaragua, a revolução das crianças”, of Caco Barcellos. The objective is to verify how the autor refers to the parts envolved on the Sandinista revolution, in each part of the conflict. To this, I divided de time of catchment of the reporter in the front in periods, and maped, inside these, the references to the people, the dictatorship, the guerrilla and the press, beyond the characters. The methodology used was content analysis. Along this analysis, I realized a revision about the reporting book beyond a brief revision of the history of Nicaragua to context the facts related in the book. Motivated by the spirit of reporter, Caco Barcellos risks his life to approach the people, understand and represent them the further possible way.
