Abstract
This article aims to optimize the process of catalytic hydrogenation of methyl-acetylene and propadieno (MAPD), contaminants from propylene. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) form a factorial design was applied. The influence of four factors was studied, namely: recycle flow, output concentration of MAPD on first, second and third stages. The main result was optimum point determination for three response variables (propylene gain, temperature in second stage and MAPD concentration in third sta ...
The main result was optimum point determination for three response variables (propylene gain, temperature in second stage and MAPD concentration in third stage). The predicted optimal conditions provided a propylene gain of 2,25%. This article presents the regression model to predict response variables and experimental test results. ...
