A democratização do graffiti a partir da web 2.0 : análise da importância da obra de Bansky e Blek Le Rat para o período artístico-cultural contemporaneo

Abstract

O presente trabalho de conclusão tem como tema de pesquisa a compreensão e reconhecimento da importância da internet como meio de expansão e de maior visibilidade para o movimento artístico e contemporâneo denominado graffiti. A metodologia empregada foi a hermenêutica de profundidade, a qual auxiliou no entendimento e busca dos resultados finais, ainda que parciais. Para tanto, foram definidos dois objetos: o artista inglês Banksy e o francês Blek Le Rat. Estudaram-se os significados de algumas obras previamente selecionadas, bem como a presença digital de ambos. Para o entendimento do trabalho, fez-se necessário também um breve estudo sobre o surgimento do graffiti até a sua ligação com a internet, que com o poder global de disseminação, exerce papel fundamental neste momento para a aceitação da arte de rua como arte em si. Portanto, foram definidos objetivos específicos para verificar se a disseminação deste movimento recebe influencia da internet, identificar se a adesão ao mesmo é influenciada pelo uso da web dos dois artistas analisados e compreender o papel dela na potencialização do valor da arte urbana. Como conclusão, entendemos que a democratização do graffiti por meio da internet sofre influência direta dos artistas analisados e que, além disso, assume a função de ser considerada uma nova porta de entrada para o conhecimento da arte como um todo.

This final paper has as its research field the comprehension and recognition of the importance of the internet as a means of expansion and increased visibility for the contemporary artistic movement known as grafitti. The methodology adopted was depth hermeneutics, which has helped in the understanding and search of the final results, even if partial. For this purpose, two objects have been defined: the English artist Banksy and the French artist Blek Le Rat. Some works previously selected have been studied, as well as the digital presence of both. For understanding this work, it has also been made necessary a brief study starting on the emergence of graffiti until its links with the internet, that with its global power of dissemination, plays at this moment a fundamental role for the acceptance of street art as an art per se. Therefore, specific objectives have been defined to verify if the dissemination of this movement is influenced by the internet, identify if adherence is influenced by use of web for the two artists analyzed and to comprehension its role in exponentiating the street art value. In conclusion, we come to understand that the democratization of grafitti through the internet is under direct influence from the artists featured in this paper and that, moreover, assumes the role of being considered a new gateway to the knowledge of arts as a whole.
