The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), driven by technological subfields such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning, has triggered profound transformations in the healthcare sector. In Brazil, this technology is emerging as a strategic tool integrated into the Unified Health System (SUS), particularly within the scope of Primary Health Care (PHC). In this context, this study develops an integrative literature review with the general objective of analyzing the scientific production on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Primary Health Care in Brazil between 2020 and 2025. The methodology followed a structured six-step protocol, utilizing bibliographic searches in scientifically relevant databases such as Medline/PubMed, LILACS/VHL, SciELO, and Google Scholar. Inclusion criteria were defined focusing on original articles or scoping reviews that explicitly addressed the use of AI in PHC and digital health within SUS over the last six years. The initial screening process identified 1,378 articles, which, after applying relevance filters and removing duplicates, resulted in a final selection of 11 scientific articles that grounded the analysis. The results revealed that these technologies offer key benefits, including increased care efficiency, optimized consultation times, greater clinical assertiveness, and a fairer allocation of public supplies and resources. On the other hand, the study highlights significant barriers, such as low funding for technological infrastructure and technical training, emphasizing the importance of AI always operating alongside human monitoring and in compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). It concludes that the advancement of digital health requires mature regulations, continuous structural investments in public infrastructure, and the development of subsequent studies to monitor long-term clinical impacts, ensuring the universal and equitable principles of SUS. ...
