Engajamento político no Instituto Educar : construção do sujeito militante na Faculdade de Agronomia do MST

Abstract

A pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender como a experiência educativa na Faculdade de Agronomia do MST em Pontão/RS atua na produção do engajamento político dos estudantes com o MST e suas pautas. Para isso, buscou conhecer as trajetórias de vida dos estudantes que formam sua identidade pessoal, analisar as dinâmicas vivenciadas na faculdade, descobrir em que medida os quadros interpretativos do Movimento são compartilhados pelos alunos e como o Instituto Educar mobiliza esses quadros interpretativos para formar sujeitos militantes. A metodologia é qualitativa, e envolveu uma revisão bibliográfica, uma observação participante e uma entrevista semiaberta com três alunos, com o objetivo de compreender as dinâmicas sociais na faculdade e a trajetória de vida dos estudantes. A conclusão é que o Instituto Educar busca mobilizar as experiências de vida dos alunos para produzir uma identificação coletiva para com o Movimento, e dessa maneira formar sujeitos comprometidos com suas pautas.

The research objective is to understand how the educational experience in the Agronomy college of the Landless Workers Movement, in Pontão/RS, acts on the production of political engagement of the students with the Movement and its agendas. To achieve this, it sought the life trajectories of the students that influence their personal identities, analyze the dynamics experienced in the college, investigate to what extent the frameworks of the Movement are shared by the students and how the college mobilizes these frameworks to form militants. The methodology is qualitative, and involved a literature review, a participant observation and a semi-structured interview with three students, to understand the social dynamics on the college and the life trajectories of the students. The conclusion is that the college aims to mobilize the students’ life experiences to foster collective identification with the Movement, thereby shaping militants committed to its agendas.
