Resumo
O objetivo deste trabalho é, através de uma revisão da literatura, estabelecer a importância e as indicações da radiografia panorâmica no exercício da Clínica Odontológica. Além disso, revisar os fatores que influenciam a obtenção da imagem e que contribuem para a magnificação e distorção inerentes a técnica quanto as aferições horizontais, verticais e angulares obtidas através das respectivas radiografias.
Abstract
The aim of this study is, throughout literature revision, to establish the importance and indications of the panoramic radiography in the Dentistry Clinic practice. Also to review the factors that influence the images obtainded, contributing to the magnification and distortion inherent to this technique, regarding angular, vertical and horizontal measurements in clinical practice.
