A busca por Nastácia Filíppovna em O idiota

Abstract

Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a personagem Nastácia Filíppovna, do romance O Idiota (1869), escrito pelo autor russo Fiódor Dostoiévski (1821 – 1881), por meio da leitura crítica, da revisão bibliográfica e da análise detalhada dos principais episódios protagonizados pela personagem. Inicialmente, o trabalho apresentará uma série de correspondências enviadas pelo autor durante a época da elaboração da obra, que servirão de pista para compreender sua visão sobre Nastácia Filíppovna ao aproximá-lo do personagem Míchkin. Após, o trabalho propõe a compreensão das motivações de Nastácia e suas intenções ao agir de maneira enérgica em diversos episódios. Também, demonstrará que uma leitura mais sensível em relação à mulher se choca com a interpretação do narrador e de outras personagens do livro. Ainda, através dessa conjuntura, analisará Nastácia por uma via psicológica, aproximando-a dos sujeitos em estado-limite para compreender as consequências geradas por experiências traumatizantes. Discutirá, por fim, a percepção negativa da personagem sobre si mesma e os motivos que a levam a tal percepção. O trabalho analisa temas sensíveis, como relacionamentos abusivos, abuso sexual e feminícidio.

The study aims to analyze the character Nastasya Filippovna, from the novel The Idiot (1869), written by the Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky (1821 - 1881), through critical reading, bibliographical review and detailed analysis of the main episodes in which the character is the protagonist. At first, the paper will present a series of correspondences sent by the author during the period he was writing the book, and it will serve as a clue to understand his vision of Nastasya Filippovna as the work analyzes his resemblances to the character Míchkin. The paper then proposes to understand Nastasya's motivations and her intentions when acting with drastic measures in various episodes. It will also show that a more sensitive reading of the character clashes with the interpretations of the narrator and other characters in the book. It will also analyze Nastasya through a psychological lens, bringing her closer to borderline personality subjects in order to understand the consequences generated by traumatic experiences. Finally, it will discuss the character's negative perception of herself and the reasons that lead her to have this perception. This work analyzes sensitive topics such as abusive relationships, sexual abuse and femicide.
