Linguistic aspects of the translation and retranslation of the CLG in Brazil
Resumo
Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um estudo da tradução/retradução do Curso de linguística geral de Ferdinand de Saussure, tomando por base a reflexão sobre o tema da retradução presente em Berman (1990). São analisadas, quanto aos aspectos linguísticos, algumas passagens das edições brasileiras de 1970 e 2021.
Abstract
This article aims to present a study of the translation/retranslation of Ferdinand de Saussure’s book, Course ofGeneral Linguistics, based on Berman’s (1990) reflection on retranslation. Some passages from the 1970 and 2021 Brazilian editions are analysed in terms of linguistic aspects.
