Revisão do gênero Hypatropis Bergroth, 1891 (Heteroptera, Pentatomidae)

Abstract

Hypatropis Bergroth, 1891 is revised with emphasis on the extenal genitalia of both sexes. Five species are assigned to the genus, three of them new. H. sternalis (Stàl, 1869) and H. inermis (Stàl, 1872) are redescribed and illustrated. H. similis, sp. n., H. rolstoni, sp. n. and H. australis, sp. n.., are described and illustrated. H. sinuata (Stàl, 1872) was transferred to another genus described as new. Oenopiella impicta Jensen- Haarup, 1928 is considered a junior synonym of .H. inermis. The lectotype of O. impicta is designated.
