Fêmina : estudo e escrita de uma narrativa de ficção científica feminista

Abstract

Neste Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso, apresenta-se um estudo do gênero Ficção Científica (FC), bem como dos campos Teoria Feminista (TF) e Escrita Criativa (EC), seguido da exposição das ideias e produções referentes ao romance de ficção científica feminista ainda em desenvolvimento, intitulado Fêmina. Para além do meu apreço por tais gêneros, o estudo em questão faz-se relevante por contribuir, em termos de conhecimento, tanto no âmbito crítico quanto no artístico, com duas áreas de estudo marginalizadas no cenário acadêmico brasileiro dedicado à Literatura — a saber, a FC e a EC —, além de proporcionar reflexões críticas sobre o nosso próprio mundo (real) e suas estruturas de gênero através da perspectiva da TF, promovendo a igualdade e o respeito entre todos os indivíduos e argumentando contra qualquer tipo de vantagem de uma pessoa sobre a outra. Assim sendo, os objetivos deste trabalho são: (1) aprofundar o conhecimento nas referidas áreas de estudo; (2) estabelecer relações entre conceitos e ideias dessas áreas e aspectos da narrativa de Fêmina; e (3) documentar e refletir acerca do processo de escrita de um romance. Para a realização deste estudo, a metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica a partir de obras de autores e/ou organizadores como Mark Bould, Andrew M. Butler, Adam Roberts, Sherryl Vint, Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda, Luiz Antonio de Assis Brasil e Virginia Woolf. Como resultados deste trabalho, tem-se todo o conhecimento acumulado e organizado a respeito das referidas áreas, bem como a sinopse da história, a estruturação do romance em capítulos e seções, as fichas de personagens das figuras principais da narrativa, assim como da população em geral, uma descrição formal da língua a ser utilizada na escrita da narrativa (Língua Feminesa) e, por fim, mas não menos importante, alguns trechos de capítulos da história.

This Final Paper presents the studies made on the genre of Science Fiction (SF), as well as the disciplines of Feminist Theory (FT) and Creative Writing (CW), followed by the exposition of ideas and written productions related to the feminist science fiction novel, entitled Fêmina, which is still in development. Beyond my passion for such genres, this study is relevant due to its contribution, in terms of knowledge, both in a critic and in an artistic way, to two areas of study that are a bit marginalized in the academic scenario dedicated to Literature in Brazil — namely SF and CW —, as well as due to its provision of critiques of our own (real) world and its gender structures and relations through the perspective of FT, promoting equality and respect among all individuals and arguing against any kind advantage from a person over another. Therefore, the objectives of this work are (1) to deepen the knowledge in the aforementioned areas of study; (2) to establish relations between concepts and ideas in these areas and aspects of the narrative of Fêmina; and (3) to document and reflect upon the process of writing a novel. In order to carry out this study, the methodology used was bibliographic research in the works of authors or organizers such as Mark Bould, Andrew M. Butler, Adam Roberts, Sherryl Vint, Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda, Luiz Antonio de Assis Brasil and Virginia Woolf. As results of this work, there is the cumulate and organized knowledge regarding the aforementioned areas of study, as well as the synopsis of the story, the structuring of the novel in chapters and sections, the characters’ sheets of the main figures of the narrative, as well as that of the general population, a formal description of the language to be used in the writing of the narrative (Feminese Language), and, last but not least, some excerpts from chapters of the story.
