Extensão universitária e a prática extensionista

Abstract

A extensão faz parte do tripé universitário. A Resolução Nº 029/2021, posterior ao Parecer Nº 18/2021 do Conselho de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão (CEPE)UFRGS, instituiu a obrigatoriedade de no mínimo 10% dos créditos de extensão nos Projetos Pedagógicos dos cursos de graduação. No primeiro semestre acadêmico de 2023, a UFRGS implantou a inserção curricular da extensão com a carga horária de extensão (CHE) e a unidade curricular de extensão (UCE) através da atuação discente na equipe de trabalho em atividades de extensão. No final do primeiro semestre acadêmico de 2023 e início do segundo, a UFRGS registrou nos cursos a prática extensionista, 1,23% apenas com UCE; 24,69% apenas com CHE; 70,37% com UCE e CHE e em 3,70% com nenhum, três cursos ainda não iniciaram a inserção curricular da extensão nos seus currículos da graduação. Também foram registrados 607 atividades de extensão com registro de relacionamento a projetos de pesquisa. No segundo semestre de 2023, foi também implantado no sistema de extensão os 17 Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), disponibilizados pelos 193 países membros da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU) que subscreveram a Agenda 2030 para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável. A UFRGS está inserida nesta agenda através do UFRGS sustentável e agora também no sistema de extensão, estando disponível para o coordenador de projetos/programas definir em qual ODS estará inserido, fortalecendo ainda mais a abrangência da extensão. A prática extensionista é muito gratificante e plena, pontos fundamentais que complementam a paixão sem limites de todo extensionista.

The extension is part of the university tripod. Resolution Nº 029/2021, subsequent to Opinion Nº 18/2021 of the Teaching, Research and Extension Council (CEPE) UFRGS, established the obligation of at least 10% of extension credits in the Pedagogical Projects of undergraduate courses. In the first academic semester of 2023, UFRGS implemented the curricular insertion of extension with the extension course load (CHE) and the extension curricular unit (UCE), through student participation in the work team in extension activities. At the end of the first academic semester of 2023 and the beginning of the second, UFRGS registered extension practice in the courses, 1.23% with UCE alone; 24.69% with CHE only; 70.37% with UCE and CHE and 3.70% with none, three courses have not yet started the curricular inclusion of extension in their undergraduate curricula. 607 extension activities were also registered with a record of relationships with research projects. In the second half of 2023, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), made available by the 193 member countries of the United Nations (UN) that signed the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, were also implemented in the extension system. UFRGS is included in this agenda through the sustainable UFRGS and now also in the extension system, making it available for the project/program coordinator to define which SDG it will be included in, further strengthening the scope of the extension. Extension practice is very rewarding and fulfilling, fundamental points that complement the boundless passion of every extension worker.
