Avaliação dos fatores de barreira que influenciam o atendimento da população com disforia de gênero no Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre

Abstract

Introdução: Em nosso país, a população portadora de Disforia de Gênero (DG) enfrenta barreiras quanto ao acesso à Rede de Atenção em Saúde (RAS). Nos últimos 20 anos, houve evolução no que diz respeito à inclusão da população LGBTQIAP+ na legislação brasileira de políticas públicas, incluindo a previsão de assistência médica global pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Apesar desses avanços, o acesso da população transexual à RAS segue deficitário. Objetivo: Investigar os níveis de conhecimento sobre o tema disforia de gênero entre grupos técnicos e de nível superior que trabalham no Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA), com base em uma pesquisa exploratória, e, a partir desses resultados, desenvolver material educativo direcionado a profissionais dessa instituição na modalidade de Ensino a Distância (EAD). Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo transversal no qual foi disponibilizado um questionário online com perguntas relacionadas à DG e atenção em saúde a pacientes transexuais no Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). O questionário foi enviado mediante convite online para profissionais das seguintes áreas: medicina, enfermagem, psicologia, fisioterapia e serviço social. Resultados: Participaram 67 profissionais que responderam o questionário online sendo a maioria mulheres com graduação em enfermagem, idade média de 38,7 anos. Grande parte delas tem pós-graduação, atuam em instituição hospitalar há mais de dez anos. Com base nesses dados, ressaltamos a importância da qualificação sobre o assunto perante a todos os colaboradores da instituição. A partir dos resultados foi elaborada uma capacitação interna com ação educativa aos profissionais do HCPA.

Introduction: In our country, the population with Gender Dysphoria (in Portuguese, DG) faces barriers regarding access to the Health Care Network (In Portuguese, RAS). In the last 20 years, there has been an evolution regarding the inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ population in the Brazilian legislation of public policies, including the provision of global medical care by the Unified Health System (In Portuguese, SUS). Despite these advances, the access of the transsexual population to the HCN remains deficient. Objective: To investigate the levels of knowledge on the topic of gender dysphoria among technical and higher education groups working at the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (In Portuguese, HCPA), based on the results of an exploratory research and from these results, develop educational material directed to the professionals of this institution through the modality of Distance Learning (EaD). Methodology: This is a cross-sectional study, in which an online questionnaire was made available, with questions related to GD and health care for transsexual patients at the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). The questionnaire was conducted for professionals in the following areas: medicine, nursing, psychology, physiotherapy and social work. By online invitation. Results: Participants were 67 professionals who answered the online questionnaire, most of them women with a nursing degree, mean age of 38.7 years. Most of them have postgraduate degrees, working in a hospital institution, for more than ten years. Based on these data, we emphasize the importance of qualification on the subject before all employees of the institution. From the results was elaborated an internal training with educational action to the professionals of the HCPA.
