Sonhos de Janaína : performance artística, pedagógica e antirracista – para pensar identidades e subjetividades negras

Abstract

Este texto é resultado de uma pesquisa que tem como campo empírico o processo de criação da montagem e apresentação do trabalho Sonhos de Janaína: Performance Artística, Pedagógica e Antirracista a partir da vivência e das práticas da própria autora, que é também artista e educadora. O objetivo central da pesquisa é o de fazer pensar sobre as identidades e subjetividades de pessoas negras numa sociedade estruturalmente racista e, ao mesmo tempo, propor modos de resistência e antirracistas, sobretudo para os espaços de Educação e Artes. Apresenta-se numa trajetória dividida em cinco partes: a primeira diz respeito à contextualização da trajetória da proponente enquanto mulher negra artista de teatro já há 20 anos. Narra se o envolvimento e trabalho da pesquisadora propositora com as bonecas brasileiras Abayomis desde 2015 e a posterior inserção no âmbito da pesquisa no contexto do Teatro de Animação, especificamente a linguagem do Teatro Lambe-lambe. Apresenta-se também a descrição de todo o processo de montagem do espetáculo Sonhos de Janaína registrado em diários de trabalho, esboços e registro fotográfico, bem como as descrições das primeiras experiências de apresentação de processo em três contextos distintos. Por fim, descreve-se as impressões do trabalho “finalizado” em contato com espectadores/performances analisando-o sob a perspectiva da performance. Como aporte conceitual, tomam-se os conceitos identidade, subjetividade, racismo estrutural, performance da oralitura, tempo espiralar e os autores e autoras Grada Kilomba, Joyce Rodrigues, Leda Maria Martins, Lucas Veiga, Neusa Santos Souza e Silvio Almeida.

This text is the result of research that has as its empirical field the process of creating the setting and presentation of the work Janaína's Dreams: Artistic, Pedagogical and Anti-racist Performance based on the experience and practices of the author herself, who is also an artist and educator. The central objective of the research is to make one think about the identities and subjectivities of black people in a structurally racist society and, at the same time, propose ways of resistance and anti-racism, especially for the spaces of Education and Arts. It is presented in a trajectory divided into five parts: the first concerns the contextualization of the proponent's trajectory as a black woman theater artist for 20 years. It narrates the reasearcher proposer's involvement and work with Brazilian Abayomi dolls since 2015 and the subsequent insertion in the scope of research in the context of Animation Theater, specifically the language of Lambe-lambe Theater. It also presents a description of the entire process of setting the show Janaína's Dreams, recorded in work diaries, sketches and photographic records, as well as descriptions of the first experiences of presenting the process in three different contexts. Finally, the impressions of the “finished” work in contact with spectators/performances are described, analyzing it from the performance perspective. As a conceptual contribution, the concepts identity, subjectivity, structural racism, performance of oraliture, spiral time and the authors Grada Kilomba, Joyce Rodrigues, Leda Maria Martins, Lucas Veiga, Neusa Santos Souza and Silvio Almeida are taken.
