A mulher onça: reflexões sobre gênero e a personagem Maria Marruá no remake da novela Pantanal

Abstract

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar e analisar os sentidos de feminino e masculino na personagem Maria Marruá, do remake de Pantanal, à luz dos estudos feministas de gênero e da noção de performatividade evidenciada por Judith Butler (1990). Para alcançar esse objetivo, foram selecionadas três cenas da segunda versão, compondo, assim, o corpus empírico do trabalho. Na análise fílmica, caminho metodológico escolhido, verificou-se a gestualidade dos personagens em cena, com o auxílio dos recursos audiovisuais empregados na construção de sentidos de feminino e masculino. A partir das observações realizadas, é possível concluir que não há linearidade entre os sentidos de feminino e de masculino que se buscou gerar na narrativa. Contudo, nas três cenas analisadas, identificou-se, como padrão comum, a associação do feminino à maternidade, o que, por sua vez, atrela-se ao sofrimento, contudo, observa-se a diversidade de sentidos, através de diferentes gestualidades dos personagens, tendo alterações entre os trechos escolhidos.

This research aims to identify and analyze the meanings of feminine and masculine in the character Maria Marruá, from the Pantanal remake, in the light of feminist gender studies and the notion of performativity proposed by Judith Butler (1990). To achieve this objective, three scenes from the second version were selected, thus composing the empirical corpus of work. In the analysis of the chosen methodological physics, ideally visual of men and the gesta in the scene, with the help of the resources in the construction of feminine and masculine senses. Based on the observations made, it is possible to conclude that there is no linearity between the meanings of feminine and masculine that we sought to generate in the narrative. However, in the three scenes analyzed, the association of the feminine with motherhood was identified as a common pattern, which, in turn, is linked to suffering, however, the diversity of meanings is observed, through different gestures of the characters, with changes between the chosen passages.
