Projeto artista-curadora : pano de fundo - séc. XXI

Abstract

A proposta curatorial consiste na realização de uma exposição individual, um recorte da minha mais recente produção artística. Através de observações em viagens do comportamento social em espaços urbanos, icônicos e turísticos, do ato fotográfico, do gesto sélfico e do uso das fotografias postadas de forma espetacular nas redes sociais, surge Pano de Fundo - Séc. XXI. Configura-se como um recorte do tempo presente, do que é visível e do que não é visível, do real e do ilusório, busca provocar reflexão sobre o controle e o poder do sistema no uso das fotografias postadas de forma espetacularizada e compulsiva nas redes sociais virtuais. A poética de Pano de Fundo – Séc. XXI, revela a expansão do meu fazer artístico para além da fotografia digital, explorando o campo da fotografia expandida e o espaço através de obras instalativas. Neste novo fazer artístico, faço um exercício em olhar como curadora o meu próprio trabalho. A mostra será apresentada no primeiro semestre do ano de 2023 na Galeria Augusto Meyer no 3.º andar da Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana em Porto Alegre.

The curatorial Proposal consists of the holding of an individual exhibition, a snippet of my most recent artistic production. Through observations in travels of the social behavior in urban, iconic and tourist spaces, of the photographic act, of the selfic gesture and of the use of the photographs posted in a spectacular way on social media, emerges Pano de Fundo - Séc. XXI. It is configured as it is a fragment of present time, of what is visible and of what is not visible, of the real and of the illusory, and seeks to provoke reflection on the control and the power of the system on the use of the photographs posted in a spectacularized and compulsive fashion on virtual social media. The poetics of Pano de Fundo - Séc. XXI reveals the expansion of my artistic act beyond digital photography, exploring the field of expanded photography and the space through installations. In this new artistic act, I make an exercise in seeing like a curator of my own work. The exhibition will be presented in the first semester of the year 2023 at the Augusto Meyer Gallery on the third floor of Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana in Porto Alegre.
