Abstract in Portuguese (Brasil)
Abstract
This paper aims to analyze the possibilities of reducing the electric energy consumption costs of a distribution center (DC). Five scenarios are analyzed: current consumer situation, contracted demand and tariff modality correction of the consumer unit (CU), migration to the open energy market, own investment photovoltaic installation, and solar installation through lease of the modules. For this purpose, the company's historical consumption data, average local irradiation and temperature data, as well as the current regulation of the Brazilian electricity sector are used. The study starts by checking the current contract conditions of the energy consumed by the CU, such as contracted demand. Based on these conditions, it is possible to evaluate eligibility to the open market, according to the requirements imposed by ANEEL. Photovoltaic sizing, in turn, is performed through the model as a function of demand. Thus, we discover the installed power that the plant must have to supply all the consumption of the UC, among other physical requirements. The financial calculations consider usual market values and rates. The study horizon of all alternatives is 25 years, at the end of this period it is verified which of the scenarios presents the greatest financial viability for the client. The results show that migration to the open energy market is the most viable option for the company, since it presents savings of over 47% over 25 years, compared to the current scenario. ...
