Objective: The project analyzed the adhesion of Brazilians to the vaccination program included in the National Vaccination Calendar (CNV) from 2007 to 2017. This vaccination schedule is carried out by the National Immunization Program of the Ministry of Health, the structure of executive power Brazilian. It presents indicators of vaccination coverage, incidence, cases, deaths and lethality for each disease that has immunization in the CNV. The main characteristics of the different groups affected by the lack of immunization of these vaccines are also presented, differentiating them by age, sex and / or geographic region. Methodology: the research is characterized as quantitative, qualitative, analytical and longitudinal descriptive. Results: the BCG vaccine was the only one that reached the coverage goal during the whole period analyzed. Due to the sense of immunization safety, socioeconomic problems; lack of basic sanitation; non-mobilization of professional resources and equipment; lack of strategies for a diversity of populations and resources invested in epidemiological policies mean that the adhesion of Brazilians to the vaccination program does not meet the goal stipulated by the National Immunization Program. Conclusion: Immunization means reducing disease-related costs, reducing morbidity and mortality, and making health management effective. It is up to the federal, state and municipal spheres to present an integration and strategies with other segments of society that mobilize the population more, aiming to improve the health of Brazilians. ...
