Jornal escolar : a educomunicação como percurso para a formação do leitor

Abstract

Este estudo caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa-ação, com abordagem qualitativa, tendo-se em vista a especificidade desse tipo de pesquisa: a observação e investigação de uma realidade que se pretende mudar e o planejamento e a execução de estratégias de intervenção que visem a provocar transformações nessa realidade. Desse modo, é objetivo desse estudo desenvolver a educomunicação para potencializar a formação de leitores através da criação de um jornal escolar. Para esse fim, a abordagem teórico-metodológica do presente trabalho divide-se em duas grandes partes. Na primeira, encontra-se a pesquisa bibliográfica dos assuntos relacionados ao tema, que configura o aporte teórico aplicado na esfera prática do estudo. Na segunda parte, encontra-se a proposta de intervenção implementada. Os resultados obtidos no presente trabalho evidenciaram que a educomunicação desencadeia o letramento digital dos alunos, o que é extremante necessário na modernidade tecnológica. Também revelaram que o jornal escolar é uma ferramenta democrática de acesso à leitura e à escrita, além de excelente exercício de protagonismo juvenil. Além disso, demonstraram que a formação do leitor é um processo que se faz e refaz continuamente, desde que o aluno esteja em contato com diferentes formas de ler e escrever.

This study is characterized as an action research, with a qualitative approach, considering the specificity of this type of research: observation and investigation of a reality that is intended to change and the planning and execution of intervention strategies aimed to cause transformations of that reality. In this way, the objective of this study is to develop the educommunication to potentiate the formation of readers through the creation of a school newspaper. To archive that, the theoretical-methodological approach of this research was divided into two main parts. In the first one, there is the bibliographical research of the subjects related to the theme, which configures the theoretical contribution applied in the practical sphere of the study. In the second part, the intervention proposal was implemented. The results obtained in the present work showed that the educommunication triggers the digital literacy of the students, which is extremely necessary in technological modernity. The research also revealed that the school newspaper is a democratic tool for access to reading and writing, as well as an excellent exercise of youth protagonism. In addition, the research demonstrated that the formation of a reader is an ongoing process that is continually done and reworked, as long as the student is in contact with different ways of reading and writing.
