O presente trabalho se inscreve na perspectiva descolonial e resulta de pesquisa teórica sobre o conceito Sumak Kawsay - Suma Qamaña, expressões em língua Quéchua e Aimara, respectivamente, que expressam o “Bom Viver-Viver Bem” (BV-VB). O presente trabalho se inscreve na perspectiva descolonial e resulta de pesquisa teórica sobre o conceito Sumak Kawsay - Suma Qamaña, expressões em língua Quéchua e Aimara, respectivamente, que expressam o “Bom Viver-Viver Bem” (BV-VB). Elas vêm sendo construídas coletivamente nas últimas décadas, sobretudo no Equador e na Bolívia, por intelectuais indígenas ou interessados pelas vozes do Sul, por séculos silenciadas. Os conceitos começam a ser debatidos no Brasil, respondendo a inquietações presentes nas Ciências Humanas, Ciências Sociais, Ciências Econômicas e Educação. Embora não trate diretamente da Economia Solidária, o conceito de BV-VB pode trazer esclarecimentos relevantes, constituindo-se em contribuição significativa para essa área. O artigo contextualiza a emergência dos conceitos, apresenta a crítica dos intelectuais indígenas ao conceito de desenvolvimento e explora a surpreendente polisemia do BV-VB. ...

Although it does not deal directly with the Solidarity Economy, the concept of BV-VB can bring relevant clarifications, constituting a significant contribution to this area.
