Este trabalho questiona a validade de dois procedimentos de cálculo presentes na NBR 6118 (ASSOCIAÇÃO BRASILEIRA DE NORMAS TÉCNICAS, 2014), ambos sobre perdas progressivas da força de protensão. Esta estabelece que a concretagem do elemento estrutural, assim como a protensão, são executadas em fases suficientemente próximas para que se desprezem os efeitos recíprocos de uma etapa sobre a outra. Percebe-se que a norma abrange somente esta situação, o que nem sempre ocorre. Justifica-se, então, a necessidade deste estudo. Primeiramente, este trabalho se restringe a descumprir a premissa de carga em única etapa para quatro situações e a calcular as perdas pelos métodos normatizados. Posteriormente, será elaborada uma análise comparativa destes resultados com os gerados por metodologia que simula com maior precisão o comportamento real da peça. Ao final, se avalia a precisão dos resultados dos métodos de norma. Desta forma, se faz possível tecer algumas conclusões e, como não poderia ser diferente, novos questionamentos. ...
