No presente trabalho apresento o planejamento, a realização e o registro de atividades de leitura literária em uma Escola de Educação Infantil pública da região metropolitana. No presente trabalho apresento o planejamento, a realização e o registro de atividades de leitura literária em uma Escola de Educação Infantil pública da região metropolitana. Com intuito de conhecer os critérios de seleção das obras literárias ofertadas às crianças pelas professoras, utilizei como procedimento metodológico um questionário aberto complementado com anotações em uma reunião pedagógica sobre o tema. Para as reflexões acerca do tema e sua importância, cerquei-me de autores como Rosa (2014, 2015), Reyes (2010, 2014) e Corso (2006), além de verbetes assinados e constando no Glossário CEALE (2014). A realização da pesquisa permitiu perceber o modo como um grupo de professoras que atuam com crianças entre dois e quatro anos escolhem, utilizam e registram o trabalho com livros infantis em sala de aula. Uma das conclusões de pesquisa indica que a maior parte das professoras faz “contação de histórias” e não leitura literária, e escolhe os livros a serem contados de acordo com o assunto do projeto didático em andamento. Títulos, autores e gêneros literários bem como os procedimentos de leitura literária adequados à faixa etária são ignorados por elas em seu trabalho com os pequenos. ...
