Mulheres em situação de rua : reflexões sobre a Educação em Direitos Humanos

Abstract

Este trabalho de conclusão aborda temas relativos às vivências de mulheres em situação de rua, a partir do diálogo com trabalhadoras e uma mulher usuária de um Centro de Atendimento, na cidade de Porto Alegre, a fim de problematizar este fenômeno social. Partindo desta ideia, a pergunta central desta pesquisa foi: Como vivem as mulheres em situação de rua na cidade de Porto Alegre que frequentam o CENTRO e o que manifestam como necessário para que se efetivem propostas de educação em Direitos Humanos? Para tanto, o objetivo central foi de conhecer e analisar os contextos vivenciados por mulheres em situação de rua, que frequentam o CENTRO, na cidade de Porto Alegre, buscando alternativas para a efetivação de propostas educativas com vistas aos Direitos Humanos. Pretendeu-se discutir uma realidade que se torna invisível para boa parte da população, mas que precisa ser problematizada em diferentes âmbitos da sociedade. Para a realização deste trabalho, foram referências os estudos feministas, a partir das leituras de Saffioti (1987), Lagarde y de Los Ríos (2005), Amoroso (2013) e Almeida (2006). Também foram estudados documentos oficiais, a nível internacional e do Estado Brasileiro, os quais fazem menção aos Direitos Humanos. Para finalizar, por meio da obra de Schuch e Gehlen (2012), e Scherolt (2012) são apresentadas considerações sobre as pessoas em situação de rua. Por meio das entrevistas, foi possível identificar diferenças existentes no que diz respeito ao estar em situação de rua para homens e para mulheres. Conforme depoimentos, o desgaste físico e emocional é mais visível nelas. Há ainda outras diferenças: elas apresentam demandas específicas, por isso, são necessários serviços destinados exclusivamente às mulheres, que incluem o atendimento psicossocial e educacional, o que não tem ocorrido com perenidade.

This thesis deals with issues related to homeless women's experiences on the streets; it’s done after conversations with the employees of POP center (Reference center for homeless people) and a woman who attend POP and receive their services in the city of Porto Alegre and it aims to discuss this social phenomenon. Starting from this idea, the main question of this research is: How do homeless women live on the streets in Porto Alegre; Following this question what are the needs of the homeless women who attend POP Center so that they get the proposed education which is compatible with human rights. Therefore, the main objective was to know and analyze the contexts experienced by homeless women who attend POP center in Porto Alegre and to seek alternatives to realize educational proposals that compatible with human rights. Also intending to discuss a reality that most of the population is not aware of, which leads to other problems in different areas of the society. References in feminist studies were used to accomplish this work such as the readings of Saffioti (1987), Lagarde (2005), Loving (2013) and Almeida (2006). Also international and Brazilian official documents which were compatible with Human Rights were studied. And finally, through the work of Schuch and Gehlen (2012), and Scherolt (2012) which were presented considering the homeless people. It was noted that there is a big difference regarding the homeless life situation on the streets between men and women, as the physical and emotional distress is much more visible in women’s case. As a result of these differences homeless women have needs that men do not have, thus, specific services is needed for women including psychosocial and educational services, which has not happened yet.
