A integração das mídias como forma de conscientização na redução do ruído no ambiente escolar

Abstract

O presente trabalho apresenta estratégias e ações educativas com a utilização de diversas mídias como suporte no combate a um contaminante silencioso, porém muito eficaz no prejuízo da saúde dos indivíduos, o ruído. O trabalho foi realizado numa escola municipal na cidade de São Leopoldo, com 699 alunos, 46 professores e 15 funcionários. As estratégias utilizadas foram atividades de sensibilização ao ruído e atividades de educação. Iniciou-se o trabalho com uma formação aos professores e representantes da comunidade sobre a influência do ruído na aprendizagem e na saúde do ser humano. Após a formação foram traçadas estratégias para serem aplicadas na escola com o intuito de conscientizar os alunos sobre a questão do ruído. As estratégias e ações educativas colocadas em prática foram vídeos informativos, música e jogos calmos no intervalo, concursos de cartazes e vídeos sobre o tema. Tanto para a sensibilização como nas ações educativas as mídias foram essenciais e necessárias para o desenvolvimento do projeto. Os índices de pressão sonora na escola foram medidos antes e depois das estratégias e ações educativas observando-se uma redução entre 2 a 3 dB em quase todos os setores, em média 41%, considerando-se esta redução significativa, principalmente por ter sido conseguida através de ações educativas com recursos midiáticos, sem alterações físicas. Ao aproximar as mídias no contexto escolar estamos aproximando a escola da realidade do aluno e promovendo uma educação de qualidade e agradável ao mesmo.

This paper presents strategies and educational actions with the utilization of several medias like support in the combat of a silent contaminant, but very effective in the health’s prejudice of the people, the noise. The work was realized in a municipal school on the São Leopoldo City, with 699 students, 46 teachers and 15 employees. The strategies utilized were the activities of awareness to the noise and activities education. The work was started with a formation of the teachers and representatives of the community about the influence of the noise in the learning and in the health of to the human. After the formation was drawn strategies to be applied in the school with the order of awareness the students about the question of noise. The strategies and education placed in practice was informative videos, song and games calms in the break, contest of posters and videos about the theme. It is so much to awareness like in the educational actions; the media were essential necessaries to the development of the project. The indexes of noise pressure in the school were measured after and before of the strategies and of the educational actions observing a reduction between 2 and 3 dB in almost all the sectors, average 41% , considering this reduction significant, principally it has been gotten by through of educational actions with media resources, without physics alterations. When approximate the media in the school context are approaching the school of the student’s reality and promoting a quality’s education and pleasing to the student.
