A pesquisa na internet como fonte de construção de conhecimentos dos alunos do ensino fundamental : anos finais da escola Profª Judith Macedo de Araújo

Abstract

A presente monografia trata de um estudo sobre as ações dos alunos no decorrer do processo de pesquisa na Internet. Para tanto, além de conhecer essas ações, busca-se compreender se estas conduzem ou não a uma construção de conhecimentos significativa, bem como a importância do papel do professor durante a atividade de pesquisa. Logo, os sujeitos da pesquisa foram alunos e professores de 6ª a 8ª série (7º ao 9º ano) da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Prof.ª Judith Macedo de Araújo localizada no Município de Porto Alegre/RS/Brasil. A coleta de dados foi realizada através de questionários abertos, buscando a escrita do aluno e o papel do professor, bem como, de observações dos sujeitos no laboratório de informática da escola durante atividades de pesquisa. As conclusões temporárias indicam um mapeamento das ações no processo de pesquisa na Internet, desenvolvido a partir de duas categorias principais: papel do aluno e papel do professor. No papel do aluno buscou-se verificar se ocorrem leitura e reflexão das informações, se a ação copiar-colar é uma prática comum e se há pesquisa em vários sites ou em outras fontes de consulta. No âmbito dos professores foi analisado seu papel como problematizador e comprometido com a aprendizagem dos educandos. Como resultado final buscou-se construir um plano de ação para auxiliar professores e alunos na realização de pesquisas na Internet com qualidade.

This abstract is a research on the students' actions during the process of browsing the Internet. For this, besides knowing these actions, it´s seek to understand whether or not they lead to a meaningful construction of knowledge as well as the important role of the teacher during the research activity. Therefore, the subjects were students and teachers of 6th to 8th grade (7th to 9th grade) of the Basic Education Prof. Macedo de Araujo Judith School located in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil. The data collection was conducted through open questionnaires, analising for the writing of the student´s and the teacher's role, as well as observations of the subjects in the school computer lab for research activities. The temporary conclusions indicate a mapping of actions in the process of searching the Internet, developed from two main categories: the role of student and teacher role. On the role of the student it was tried to verify the occurrence of reading and reflection of the information, if the action of “copy-paste” is a common practice and if there is on research on various sites or other reference source. As the teachers scope considered their role as problemsolving and committed to students' learning. As a final attempt to construct an action plan to help teachers and students in conducting quality research on the Internet.
