Processo analítico : a conceituação em um grupo de psicanalistas

Abstract

Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa que tem por objetivo compreender e descrever a conceituação do termo processo analítico por um grupo de psicanalistas de uma sociedade psicanalítica filiada à IPA (International Psychoanalytical Association). Processo analítico é um conceito que, após sua introdução na teoria psicanalítica por Freud, em 1913, tornou-se um dos principais conceitos da teoria, da técnica e da pesquisa em psicanálise. Hoje, a referência ao conceito é universal na bibliografia. Embora a totalidade dos psicanalistas desta e de épocas passadas reconheçam a existência de algo denominado como processo analítico, bem como sua importância, até agora não foi possível estabelecer uma definição de consenso sobre ele. As definições são não só inúmeras, como também contraditórias entre si. O material foi coletado através de entrevistas semi-estruturadas com 5 sujeitos, seguindo um roteiro de questões abertas, gravadas em fitas de áudio e posteriormente transcritas. Procedeu-se à análise de conteúdo, conforme estabelece Bardin (1988), do material coletado. Um estudo-piloto prévio foi realizado, onde três analistas não didatas, da mesma Sociedade, foram estrevistados, com o objetivo de testar o roteiro da entrevista bem como a dinâmica do encontro. Não foi encontrada uma conceituação consensual para o termo processo analítico. Os sujeitos referiram-se ao processo analítico a partir de vários elementos, alguns em comum, mas não houve concordância quanto aos mesmos elementos. Houve consenso quanto ao papel atribuído à relação analítica no processo, considerada fundamental, bem como à dimensão da vivência particular dessa relação, como definidora do caráter único que o processo, dentro da relação, adquire.

This study involves qualitative research aimed at the understanding and description of the conceptualization of the term analytic process, performed by a group of psychoanalysts of a psychoanalytic society affiliated with IPA (International Psychoanalytic Association). Analytic process is a concept which, since its introduction into psychoanalytic theory by Freud in 1913, has become one of the most important concepts in psychoanalytic theory, technique and research. Today, reference to the concept in the literature is universal. Though psychoanalysts, of both this and earlier times, acknowledge the existence of something called analytic process, as well as its importance, a consensual definition has not yet been established. Not only are the definitions innumerable, but they are also contradictory. Material was collected by means of semi-structured interviews performed on five subjects, following an open question script, recorded on audio tapes and later transcribed. They were then submitted to content analysis, as established by Bardin (1988). A previous pilot-study was performed, where three non-teaching analysts, from the same society, were interviewed with the goal of testing the script and the dynamics of the encounter. A consensual conception for the term analytic process was not established. The subjects referred to the analytic process in the context of myriad elements, and though some elements were commonly referred to, an agreement on them was not reached. There was consensus regarding the role of the analytic relation in the process, deemed essential, as well as the role of the particular experiences this relation as defining the unique character that the process, within the relation, acquires.
