Abstract

Durações instáveis: a noite em processo de captura e transfiguração é a instância atual da pesquisa em artes visuais que venho desenvolvendo desde 2002, partindo de ações noturnas em que são deflagrados acontecimentos fotográficos e textuais para a elaboração da dissertação/livro. Livro que, confundindo-se com a dissertação, apresenta-se como misto de teoria e prática: o acesso à ação geradora de imagens. Como vivências noturnas, as ações capturam a noite para a sua transfiguração através da fotografia e do texto no livro para a experiência do leitor/fruidor.

Unstable duration: the night in process of capture and transfiguration is the current instance in the research of visual art that I have been developing since 2002, going from night actions when phothographic and text happenings are deflagrated to the elaboration of the dissertation/book. This book, confounding itself up with the dissertation, presents itself as a mixture of theory and practice: the access to the action generator of images. As night experiences, the actions capture the night to its transfiguration through the photography and the text for the experience of the reader.
