As lajes alveolares constituem-se em um dos elementos pré-moldados mais utilizados, garantindo, cada vez mais, um importante espaço em obras de construção civil, devido às suas grandes vantagens. As lajes alveolares constituem-se em um dos elementos pré-moldados mais utilizados, garantindo, cada vez mais, um importante espaço em obras de construção civil, devido às suas grandes vantagens. Essas lajes possuem alvéolos (vazios) longitudinais com formas diversificadas, com o propósito de diminuir o peso próprio da laje. Elementos pré-moldados, principalmente as lajes, não garantem uma grande rigidez da estrutura e podem estar mais suscetíveis a deformações. Assim, com o intuito de conhecer melhor o comportamento das lajes alveolares, este estudo faz uma análise, quanto às deformações, de lajes alveolares disponibilizadas na região de Porto Alegre, tendo como base as fórmulas e os procedimentos contidos na NBR 6118/2007. Para o estudo são utilizadas cinco diferentes lajes alveolares comercializadas por um único fabricante. A determinação das flechas nessas lajes são realizadas de forma teórica utilizando-se das fórmulas da Norma e calculadas com o auxílio básico, mas eficiente, do programa Microsoft Excel. Dessa forma, a partir dos resultados teóricos obtidos, pôde-se compará-los com os limites estipulados pela Norma e, assim, analisar se as lajes alveolares estudadas estão de acordo com os critérios da NBR 6118/2007. ...
