Análise de links do blog Socialmente

Abstract

O presente estudo tem o objetivo de identificar as funções dos links inseridos nas postagens do blog Socialmente. O processo exploratório teve inicio na análise de links contidos no agregador de postagens Research Blogging. Foram analisados 149 links do blog Socialmente, aplicando e identificando as subcategorias de links normais propostas por Randall Trigg, conforme a função exercida pelos links. O processo de analise também envolveu a identificação das fontes de informação as quais os links remetiam e a categorização do canal informação para onde os links direcionavam. Os resultados indicam uma preponderância de cinco diferentes funções exercidas pelos links: citação, generalizar e especificar, abstração e exemplificação, sumarização e detalhamento e simplificação/complexificação. Essas subcategorias são utilizadas para o reconhecimento das fontes dos dados da pesquisa e para redirecionar o leitor para conteúdos que ampliam ou aprofundam o assunto tratado nas postagens. Os links demonstram uma preferência por fontes de informações de periódicos científicos, postagens do blog Socialmente e sites de conteúdos voltados para a área científica. E fontes de informações disponíveis respectivamente nos canais: rede social, periódico científico, site institucional, base de dados e site temático. As fontes de informação utilizadas são oriundas de periódicos e sites internacionais, e uma grande quantidade de links direcionados internamente para o blog Socialmente. A combinação de resultados proporcionou a confirmação da teoria de Randall Trigg de que um link pode cumprir mais de uma função ao remeter um nó. Os links demonstraram uma afinidade de uso de fontes de informações científicas pelo blog Socialmente.

The present work aims to identify the function of links inserted in postings of the blog named Socialmente. The exploratory process started by the analysis of links contained in the postings aggregator named Research Blogging. 149 links of the blog Socialmente were analyzed by application and by identification of subcategories of common links proposed by Randall Trigg, according to the function exerted by links. The analysis process also involved the identification of the sources of the information that links remitted and the categorization of the information channel that links directed. Results indicate the preponderance of five different functions exerted by links: citation, generalization and specification, abstraction and exemplification, summarization and detail, and simplification/complexation. These subcategories are used to recognize sources of research data and to redirect the reader to contents that increase or deepen the subject addressed in postings. The links indicate preference for information sources of scientific publications, of postings of the blog Socialmente, and of websites with scientific content. Besides, they refer to information available in social networks, in scientific publications, institutional websites, databases, and thematic websites. Sources of information used come from periodical publications and international websites, also from a variety of links internally directed to the blog Socialmente. The combination of results allowed the confirmation of the theory proposed by Randall Trigg that the links can perform more than one function to refer a node. The links also demonstrated an affinity of the use of scientific information sources by the blog Socialmente.
