Poesia na rede : a palavra no meio do caminho de um território mutante

Abstract

Esta tese investiga Poemas no meio do caminho, obra de Rui Torres (2008), poeta português, objetivando examinar as especificidades da estrutura dos poemas, a fim de delinear o lugar da palavra na poesia digital. O estudo confronta a natureza da tecnologia digital com a da poesia, observando que, na interface desse encontro, o processo de organização estrutural do poema torna-se contíguo a dois outros: a equipolência entre os signos e a reversibilidade interativa que se tornam elementos constitutivos da obra. O caráter transdisciplinar da criação da poesia digital permite que a argumentação tenha a confluência de várias áreas, entre elas a fenomenologia de Merleau-Ponty, o estruturalismo semiótico de Iuri Lotman e a perspectiva da leitura dentro da teoria do efeito estético de Wolfgang Iser. Assim, a poesia digital inclui-se na tradição literária pelas relações que mantêm entre hipotextos e hipertextos; rompe com ela por inovar sem negá-la; e encontra uma forma de impedir que o deslumbramento pelos recursos tecnológicos digitais obscureça o espaço da palavra.

This thesis investigates Poems on the way, the work of the Portuguese poet Rui Torres (2008), in order to examine the specifics of the structure of the poems so as to delineate the place of poetry in the digital word. The study confronts the nature of digital technology with that of poetry, noting that in this interface encounter, the process of structural organization of the poem becomes contiguous to two other ones: equipollence between signs and interactive reversible elements that become constitutive of the work. The transdisciplinary nature of creating digital poetry allows the argument to have the confluence of several areas, including the phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty, structuralist semiotics of Yuri Lotman and the perspective of a reading within the theory of the aesthetic effect by Wolfgang Iser . Thus, digital poetry falls into the literary tradition of the relations between hipotexts and hypertexts; breaks it by not denying to innovate it; and finds a way to prevent digital technology resources to obscure the space of the word.
