Nesse trabalho propôs-se a implementação do modelo multicorpos proposto por Hirschkorn, 2004, para o mecanismo de uma tecla de piano. A implementação foi feita utilizando-se o programa MATLAB, junto à interface Simulink, e foi validada comparando-a com resultados experimentais, tendo apresentado boa concordância. Abstract
This work intended to build a computational model for a piano action mechanism based on Hirschkorn’s work, 2004. It was implemented in MATLAB, using Simulink and the model presented good agreement with literature experimental data. The model then served to analyze contact time and contact force of the hammer-string interaction. Hammer mass, inertia and hammer-string distance were explored as influencing factors.
